Cruisers 500cc and Up

Cruisers are not the easiest of bikes on which to learn. Their design and higher weight make them more difficult to control at low speeds and while cornering. If a cruiser is your style of choice stay with the models in this group as your first bike. Going larger will make your learning experience riskier and much more difficult.
